MS Edge 133.0.3065.69 on M1 Mac fail to update with error An error occurred while checking for updates: 9 (error code 0).

On my M1 Mac, whenever I click Update MS Edge, the update process started and run for a few minutes then end up with error An error occurred while checking for updates: 9 (error code 0).

This issue occur for more than a month now and this is very annoying since MS Edge cannot be updated

I have tried to uninstall, then reinstall but the issue still perist.

When will Microsoft will fix this annoying and buggy error? I have reorted to Microsoft so many times but the issue nedver get fixed.

May be I have to abandon MS Edge

    Hello, I just got this too. No matter what you try it doesn't go away. Of course 99.999% of the replies from Microsoft are in broken English, stupid and useless. I tried running to the 2 terminal commands some say, but for me I get this: zsh: no matches found: /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.microsoft.EdgeUpdater.*

    So more useless help.
