If a team does not appear as an active team in Shifts, the most common causes are that the team is not a standard team, the user does not have the necessary owner/manager permissions, or Shifts has not been set up for that team yet. Verify that the team is a regular Microsoft Teams team (not a private/shared channel), ensure you are a team owner or have appropriate access, and check whether Shifts has been added and configured for the team. If the team was recently created, it may also take some time to become available in Shifts. For organization-managed accounts, an IT administrator may need to confirm that Shifts is enabled through Teams policies and licensing.
