For Xbox account suspensions, all enforcement actions are handled only by the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement team according to the Microsoft Services Agreement and the Xbox Code of Conduct. Support agents and community forums cannot change or override these decisions.
To understand and, where possible, contest an action, the required steps are:
- Go to the Xbox Enforcement site and sign in with the affected account: Sign in to find out why I'm suspended.
- Review the enforcement history entry for the current suspension to see the reason and impact.
- If the enforcement action is eligible, submit a Case Review from that same site. The Case Review option only appears for actions that meet the enforcement team’s criteria; short suspensions (such as some 24–48 hour suspensions) may not be eligible for review.
If the Case Review option is not available for the 2‑day suspension, there is no escalation path documented in the enforcement guidance for that specific action. In that situation, the suspension must simply run its course, but the enforcement history and the Microsoft Services Agreement/Code of Conduct pages can be used to avoid future strikes or longer suspensions.
For more details on how suspensions and bans work, and how Case Review eligibility is determined, see the Xbox Live enforcement documentation referenced below.
