When I go into Collections in Edge I get a message saying that Collections is being retired. I need to export my collections to my Favourites. However, I am given no option to do so. How can I move them across, please?
I am on version 147.0.3912.98 on Windows. The only way I can get into Collections is via the shortcut Ctrl/Shift/Y as there is no Collections button showing, though once I am in, that button does appear.
I have several dozen web pages stored in my Collections and really, really do not want to have to copy them individually to my Favourites.
I am still able to add pages to my Collections, but I thought that was meant to have been stopped by version 147.

Collections is in a phased retirement and the built‑in “Move to Favorites” option is only available when Edge shows the retirement notice with the two buttons Move to Favorites and Export Your Data in the Collections pane.
From the available information:
If the Move to Favorites button is not visible in the notice for the profile being used, there is no documented alternative bulk “export to Favorites” path. In that case, the only supported options in the documentation are:
There is no documented way to force‑enable the Move to Favorites option or to bulk‑migrate Collections to Favorites if that button is not present yet in the UI.

Now Collections have been removed Ctrl+Shift+Y doesn't do anything and I'm confused apologies what you mean by pressing Alt+Shift+I to let them know when all it does is open Developer Options.

For me this article is full of lies:
Preventing me to do what I've been told by Microsoft in clear English. I am having to manually add Favorites one by one and have been clearly lied to.
All I ever saw was faintly at the bottom of Edge was it was being discontinued but at this point I was already on a release newer than v145. I'm aware it was phased but this article started as a lie when by being phased it shouldn't have a static version that it wouldn't be adhering to.
Hi,
The cause of the missing option is unknown and I have seen other users experiencing the same issue. I suggest you report this by pressing Alt+Shift+I to let them know there is a problem with the migration. For now, as mentioned in the article below, you can still open and view your Collections via Ctrl+Shift+Y or https://www.bing.com/saves. The only change is that you won’t be able to add any new pages.
Will my Collections be deleted right away? No. This stage only removes the ability to add new items. Existing content remains accessible.

If you really want to save your pages, here is an easier method while we wait for them to fix the missing option:
