Displaying your screen content to others during a Teams meeting or call for collaboration
Dear @dale kirk,
Thank you for your patience, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing with PowerPoint Live in Microsoft Teams.
I would like to inform you that in my testing environment, I encountered a similar behavior where the PowerPoint Live option does not appear under the Share menu. Based on my observations as shown in the screenshot below, this typically occurs when the feature is restricted by the organization’s Teams meeting policy.
According to Microsoft Teams configuration, the availability of PowerPoint Live is controlled at the organization level, where administrators can enable or disable this feature for users through meeting policies.
For reference: Manage meeting policies for content sharing
In this case, I would kindly recommend that you reach out to your IT administrator/organization to verify whether PowerPoint Live has been disabled or restricted in your environment. They can review the Teams Admin Center settings and confirm if any policy is preventing the feature from appearing.
If there is anything I can do or if you have any other concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. Your satisfaction is my top priority, and I am here to support you in any way I can.
Hope you have a great day!
