No audio when playing videos or audio on browser

I have tried different browsers, both Chrome and Edge. I am using Windows 11 Pro version 25h2. I believe this happened after my latest update of 2026-05 .NET Framework Security Update (KB5087054). I have tried just about everything, but no sound from online media, but does work with media on my laptop. I also believe I have all the latest drivers and updates installed.

    Hi,

    Does it work if you connect headphones through Bluetooth or wired? If not, play an audio on your browser then open Windows Settings > System > Sound > Volume Mixer. See if the browser would appear under Apps and will show you volume.
