    Good day Danielle

Thank you for sharing your concern.

Just to gently clarify before we go any further, this is a user‑to‑user support forum. I don’t have the ability to access or investigate individual accounts because this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, do not have access to internal systems or the ability to directly take action on Microsoft product features. However, I truly hope I can help review your situation, offer some guidance, and support you in finding the right next steps as best as possible.

Based on the screenshot, Microsoft Teams shows “Something went wrong [4k709]” and “Access denied for the resource”, which indicates an account permission or configuration issue. This may occur if the required Microsoft 365 permissions are not enabled, guest access is restricted, or the correct organization is not selected in Teams. These settings are managed by the school, so this issue cannot be resolved through basic troubleshooting on your side.

Please rest assured that this situation will not result in any loss of your data or files. All information remains securely stored within the organization.

    • The recommended next step is to contact your school’s IT administrator and provide them with the error screenshot. The administrator will be able to review your account configuration and access permissions to identify and resolve the issue. In case you do not know who is your IT admin, kindly refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

You may also share the following Microsoft resource with the IT team. It explains how to use the Teams sign-in diagnostic in the Microsoft 365 admin center to check your account and identify the root cause: Self-help diagnostics for Teams administrators - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn

I hope this response reaches you in time and helps bring some clarity. If anything remains unclear, I am here to assist further.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
