Account suspended on Merchant Centre

Within a few days of setting up a new shopping website, my domain was blocked in Merchant Centre without reason given other than some fraud allegation . I need to verify myself in order to launch an appeal but I stupidly set up the account with the website name as legal entity whereas I should have used my name as a sole trader. As a result I can't verify as I have no ID in a "trading as" name.

I spoke to Microsoft ads today (service request number 7104652103) and was advised to set up under another login and claim the website and verify with my name as the legal name but when I try that I am told the domain is blocked.

Help! I'm going round in circles

Focus on the original account: Direct all future communication and appeals toward the very first account you created, as that is the one permanently linked to your domain in the system's history.

Address the Current Block (The Domain Issue)

Creating a new account with the same domain will not work because the domain itself is likely on a "blacklist" within the system due to the previous suspension.

Do not create more new accounts: This can trigger further automated red flags for "circumventing systems," which is much harder to fix than the original suspension.

Focus on the original account: You need to resolve the suspension on the first account you created. Even if the information is technically incorrect, it is the one associated with the domain's history in the eyes of their automated systems.

Gather "Doing Business As" (DBA) documentation: If you don't have a formal ID for the "trading as" name, check your local government/tax office website. Often, a sole trader registration document, a tax residency certificate, or a business registration certificate that shows your name as the owner of the business name is sufficient proof for verification teams.

Proof of Address/Ownership: Have utility bills, bank statements, or domain registration receipts ready that show your name associated with the website’s URL.
