Hi Paul B,
I understand you're having trouble getting touch functionality working on your Uperfect monitor with your Surface Laptop 7.
Could you let me know how the monitor is connected (USB-C only, HDMI + USB or through a dock)? Many portable touchscreen monitors require a USB data connection in addition to the display connection for touch input to work.
You can also try opening Device Manager > View > Show hidden devices and checking under Human Interface Devices for any HID-compliant touch devices. If you find any disabled or hidden entries, try uninstalling them and then select Action > Scan for hardware changes. It's also worth checking for any available Windows, Surface driver and optional updates.
If possible, please also let me know whether the monitor's touch functionality works when connected to another device. That can help narrow down whether the issue is with the monitor, the connection or Windows.
