Why are MS recommendations so poor giving the menu path to use.

Todays suggestions from MS Edge describes how to restrict tracking across the browser. It mentions a path that I cannot find in settings. Why don't they (MS) just provide a hyperlink to take me to the area in the menu?

This is what I am shown:User's image

Although I understand what you are saying the path in the text is valid. It takes you to

    Hello DJT,

The menu path may differ a bit depending on your Microsoft Edge version or the exact UI wording. On my up-to-date Edge version, 149.0.4022.98, the setting appears:

    User's image

So please first check your Edge version from Settings > About Microsoft Edge. Let Edge update if an update is available, then check the setting again.

About the hyperlink request, that seems to be a design choice in Edge rather than something we can repair from the settings. If you want Microsoft to add a direct link from those recommendation cards to the exact settings page, the best path is to send feedback from Edge via the built-in tool: Alt + Shift + I.
