My outlook.com calendar has hundreds of unknown group calendar names like 7walker1327,deborahwilliamsetc

I never created theses groups and I do not know theses people.

They cannot be deleted.left.removed or unsuscribed. There is no option to manage or remove them.

These groups generate spam calendar events. that have been appearing since january 17,2026.

I have already:

Checked outlook settings.

Checked calendar settings.

checked microsoft account settings.

tried outlook on the web and on Mac.

Tried right clicking and looking for leave/delete options.

nothing works.

this appears to be a server-side problem with my outlook.com account.

Can Microsoft engineer remove these. phantom group calendars from my account or investigate why they were created?

Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue with [Outlook.com]

Yes. Spam Group Joins with an associated calendar and events is a known issue that I have been tracking for some time.
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5915544/no-option-to-delete-calendar-group-in-outlook

At this time the only workaround is to try and Leave the Groups. See the Answer by "Spainkiller on Jun 21, 2026" in the referenced thread.

But Leaving seems to be a hit-and-miss process for me. Sometimes Outlook says I've left the Group, but it is still there in my Groups list.

    Thank you for your reply.

The unknown calendars do appear under Groups, but there is no option to Leave or Remove any of them.

I have also tested my [Outlook.com](https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Foutlook.com%2F&data=05%7C02%7C%7Ce744ece874a64ed95ba708ded58a2e05%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C639182986602253370%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=Ssy7IUkg1zsvAnZ4%2BfNRUxOpWg95nN7Ct3YXLsnbEpM%3D&reserved=0"Protégé par Outlook : http://outlook.com/. Cliquez ou appuyez pour suivre le lien.") account from multiple devices and browsers (my Windows computer, my Mac, and my iPhone), and the same unknown Group calendars are present everywhere.

I have attached a screenshot showing the list of these unknown Groups.

Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue with [Outlook.com](https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Foutlook.com%2F&data=05%7C02%7C%7Ce744ece874a64ed95ba708ded58a2e05%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C639182986602267035%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=VDCChcq3m56DSrrTUjuPJUPdKJA%2F6dj0kP4fec0jbCQ%3D&reserved=0"Protégé par Outlook : http://outlook.com/. Cliquez ou appuyez pour suivre le lien.")? If not, could you advise how these Group calendars can be permanently removed from my account? If necessary, I would appreciate if this issue could be escalated to the [Outlook.com](https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Foutlook.com%2F&data=05%7C02%7C%7Ce744ece874a64ed95ba708ded58a2e05%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C639182986602278669%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=oJTgMVDZw77Q1xvpGi5HEFkRbyUoSNUMK18jzJimCig%3D&reserved=0"Protégé par Outlook : http://outlook.com/. Thank you.

    Hi Martin samuel

From what you describe, I understand how concerning this is, especially if hundreds of unknown calendars are appearing and generating unwanted events.

I'd like to clarify whether these entries are actually Outlook Groups or another type of calendar subscription.

In Outlook.com, select one of the affected calendars and check whether it also appears under Groups in the left navigation pane.

If it does appear under Groups, select the group name, open the group card, click the Settings (gear) icon in the upper-right corner of the group card, and check whether there is an option to leave or remove yourself from the group.

If none of the calendars appear under Groups, or if no leave/remove option is available for any of them, please let me know whether these calendars are also visible when you access Outlook.com from a different web browser.

This will help determine whether the issue is related to your account or is specific to the browser you are using.

Please kindly note that this is a public community forum, I do not have access to Outlook.com accounts and cannot verify or remove calendars on Microsoft's servers, but additional details may help identify the appropriate next step.
