To confirm whether your account is a child account, check the date of birth listed on the child’s account.
- Open an incognito tab and sign in with the child’s profile using this link:
- https://account.microsoft.com/profile
- Check the date of birth to see whether the account is classified as a child account.
Once the account has been verified, you can manage the Family Safety features from the adult account that is the organizer of the family group.
Note - Currently, there appears to be an issue on Microsoft’s server side, where the option to manage consent for a child account does not load properly, and the page appears empty, as shown in the screenshot.
This may be a backend issue, and it will likely be resolved within 24–48 hours, but it isn't guaranteed, as there is no official confirmation from Microsoft yet.
In the meantime, I recommend submitting your feedback directly to Microsoft developers from the Microsoft Family Safety homepage:
