Hi,

We are not able to deploy gpt-4o or gpt-4.1 models in any capacity in UK South anymore. All nano/mini variants are also deprecated as well.

ServiceModelDeprecating: The model 'Format:OpenAI,Name:gpt-4o,Version:2024-11-20' is in deprecating state and cannot be used for new deployments.

We are getting the above error via Azure Open AI Foundry.

Those GPT models were supposed to be deprecated in October, but they were deprecated today instead. Various documentation suggests using gpt-4.1-mini, but those are also deprecated as well.

`ServiceModelDeprecating: The model 'Format:OpenAI,Name:gpt-4.1-mini,Version:2025-04-14' is in deprecating state and cannot be used for new deployments.

The documentation is also suggesting replacement to models which are also deprecated! https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/foundry/openai/concepts/model-retirement-schedule

Our business relies on them, and there are no alternatives being provided in UK South only at a equivalent price.

As an example, gpt-5 is not present in "Standard" deployment UK South only like GPT 4o, increasing our costs by 20x.

Is anyone able to help us?
