I added a monitor to my laptop and now my sound will not work

    To be able to assist you better, please clarify the following:

    • Is the monitor connected via HDMI or DisplayPort?
    • Do you normally play audio through the internal speakers, external speakers, or headphones?
    • If it is an external speaker or headphones, does it have a standard audio connector (Jack connector) or a USB connector, or is it connected via Bluetooth?

    Also, please share a screenshot of the "Playback" tab of the sound options.

    1. Press "Windows + R", type mmsys.cpl and press Enter;
    2. Select the "Playback" tab and take the screenshot.

    Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.
