I make an Azure account and have email from Microsoft to my student account. I try to log in, but I have a message that my university ID is not verified.

    Hello Ivan Hristoskov Stefanov (25204556),

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A,

"Unable to confirm your university ID" means Microsoft's automated academic verification couldn't validate your enrollment, this is separate from your Microsoft account itself working fine. A few common causes and fixes, in order of likelihood:

    1. Azure for Students must be verified with your official institution email address (the one ending in your university's domain), not a personal Microsoft account email. Make sure you're entering that one when prompted, not your Outlook/Hotmail address.
    2. Your university's domain isn't registered in Microsoft's verification database. Some institutions, especially smaller ones or those without a Microsoft Education agreement, aren't recognized automatically. Check with your university IT department on whether they're enrolled, or try the GitHub Student Developer Pack route instead, since it uses a separate verification path:
      • Go to https://education.github.com/pack and verify your student status there
      • Once approved, return to the Azure for Students sign-up and choose "Sign in with GitHub" instead of email verification
    3. Stale session or cache. Try a fresh InPrivate/incognito window, sign out of all Microsoft and GitHub accounts first, then redo the sign-up flow from https://azure.microsoft.com/free/students.
