I received an update today

I assume the update was to Microsoft edge. When it was complete and I was still working on my computer. All Of my favorites were deleted. This includes all of the business sites, banks etc. that I use every day to pay bills view medical info. How do I get them back?

    Do you sync your Microsoft Edge bookmarks to your Microsoft account? If you do, those bookmarks are saved to your Microsoft account and are always available to you whenever you sign in to the same profile.

    If you're not syncing your bookmarks (and other things like your passwords, open tabs, tab history, etc.) then it's possible that they could be deleted when Microsoft Edge is updated. And if you're signed in to a Microsoft Edge profile that's different from the profile you were signed into when you created those bookmarks, you won't see those bookmarks.
