Hello,

My Microsoft account was compromised after my Gmail account was hacked. The attacker gained access to my Microsoft account and changed the password, recovery information, and the primary email address on the account to ******@bientotmail.com, so I can no longer sign in.

I discovered the compromise after 8 hours. I have already submitted the Microsoft Account Recovery Form multiple times, but it was rejected with "insufficient information."

I am the legitimate owner of this account. I can provide:

  • My original Microsoft email address.
  • Previous passwords used on the account.
  • Proof of change email addresses.
  • Any other information required to verify ownership.

I am requesting a manual review of my account so I can recover ownership. Please let me know what additional information or documents you need to verify my identity.

Thank you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. I'm happy to help.

If your account has been hacked, please use the sign-in helper tool in the link below to guide you to the appropriate solutions.

For security and privacy reasons, Microsoft Support cannot manually review or recover the account on your behalf, so the recovery form remains the primary path to regain access.

If you have already used the account recovery form and received a reply stating that the information provided was insufficient, you will need to fill out the form again with any new information you remember. Please note that you can submit the form up to two times per day until you recover your account.

    Helpful Tips:

    ● Include contacts, subject lines of past emails, or any services you used (like Skype or Xbox).

    ● Complete the form using a device and location you’ve previously used to sign in.

    ● The more accurate info you provide, the better your chances of success.

If you're still unsuccessful after several attempts, please refer to the 'Account recovery unsuccessful' page.
