An Azure service that is used to provision Windows and Linux virtual machines.
Thanks for getting back so quickly. I've had already followed all these steps with no success. Below my answers to your follow-up questions.
- Is the VM patching happening via Windows Update in the OS, or via Azure Automatic VM guest patching / Update Manager? -> Originally in the OS but I tried both and both fails.
- Does the VM have direct outbound internet access, or is outbound traffic forced through Azure Firewall / proxy / restricted by NSGs/UDRs? -> The VM has direct outbound internet access
- What do you see in

- Are other updates failing too, or only KB5094125? -> All updates worked for month and another Defender update went through with no issue
