Hi everyone,

I recently launched a small web project: (Link removed by Moderator)

When testing it on Windows 11, I noticed that the site sometimes behaves differently in Microsoft Edge compared with Google Chrome. The page can load normally, but some UI elements or scripts may appear delayed or inconsistent.

I would like to understand the best way to troubleshoot this issue on Windows.

My questions are:

Are there any Edge-specific settings on Windows 11 that may affect JavaScript, caching, or site permissions?

Should I test this with Edge InPrivate mode, a new browser profile, or by clearing site data first?

Are there any built-in Windows or Edge tools that can help identify whether the problem is caused by browser cache, DNS, security settings, or network configuration?

If the website works normally in Chrome but not consistently in Edge, what should I check first?

I am mainly trying to find a proper troubleshooting process for testing a new website on Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge.

Thanks for any advice.

    Hi Zhou,

In most websites, Microsoft Edge should behave the same as Chome as they both use Chromium.

Testing with InPrivate mode and a new browser profile are good troubleshoot. You can do further troubleshoot by using Inspect (F12), navigate to Network and Performance tabs for more details about how your website is rendered.

I hope that above information is helpful to you.
