Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Hi @Sajid Khan,
Thanks for bringing this up. From what you’ve described, the behavior you’re seeing is actually quite similar to an issue that a number of other users have recently reported, especially with Outlook crashing on right-click actions. You might find it helpful to take a look at this related discussion here, as it gathers several similar cases and suggested fixes: Outlooks keep crashing, - Microsoft Q&A
To better understand your situation, I’d like to check a couple of things with you. After running an Online Repair, did you notice any improvement, or is Outlook still crashing when you right-click?
Could you please let me know which Outlook version and build you’re currently using?
There have been reports that this issue may be resolved in newer builds, particularly Version 2606 Build 20131.20090 or later, so I’d like to confirm your current version to help narrow down the scope.
In addition, there’s another workaround that you can try resetting certain experimental configurations by following these steps:
Press Win + R, type regedit, and press Enter
Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\ExperimentConfigs
Rename the key ExperimentConfigs to ExperimentConfigs.old
Note: Before doing this, I strongly recommend backing up your registry as a precaution: How to back up and restore the registry in Windows - Microsoft Support
