Missing Outlook in Microsoft 365

I share my 365 account with my wife - she is able to use word etc but since the introduction of new Outlook she has no access to her email account - indeed her previous emails appear to have disappeared completely on her laptop

    Who is your wife's email provider - that is, what follows the @ in her address? What happens when she tries to add her account to new Outlook? If she gets an error message, include it here exactly as it appears on the screen, but please mask any real address in the message so it's not public. If she logs into her mailbox with a web browser, does she see her old email?
