How to install KB5102558 from cab file

I have been trying to install KB5102558 from a cab file downloaded from the Microsoft catalog. I have been using DISM.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:”path filename.cab” . I keep receiving error about file not found. How do I install KB5102558?

That command should work provided you are typing the exact folder path to the cab file, if there are any spaces in the path, then it needs to be enclosed in double quotes in the command.

Try moving the cab file into the root of the C drive to make the path to the file less complicated for the command.

Thank you for that information, this is very strange.

Rename the CAB file to just Update.cab and move it into the root of the C drive, then run this command in Command Prompt as Administrator.

dism /online /add-package /packagepath: ”C:\Update.cab"

If that also fails, this is very strange, the best option is to wait for the July update to be released and install that, it will also contain the binaries included in the KB5102558 update.
