Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
I have thousands of duplicate entries in contacts

This has crashed twice filing a request which I guess is ironic. there are over 20,000 duplicates in my contacts. The max you can delete is 50 at a time so it will take hours to delete them all and I am sure this will happen again unless you can tell me why and how to fix it
