Hello, I tried to change my phone two months ago, and today I tried to log in to my Hotmail account, which has all my contacts and emails, but I couldn’t. It’s asking me for a verification code. I’m entering my Jordanian number, but I’m not receiving any verification code because I’m in Dubai. I tried, and my number is working fine, but no verification code is reaching my Jordanian number, which is (PII removed by Moderator). Every time I enter the verification code, I get a message saying this method isn’t supported. So please, I urgently need assistance to recover my email. Find me an urgent solution because this doesn’t make sense. I pay for the account and subscribe with Microsoft, and I need to recover my work emails urgently.

my Email: ******@hotmail.com

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Just to confirm, since you mentioned that you have a recovery phone number linked to your account, did you have two-factor authentication (2FA) active on the account?

Important: If you have an active 2FA, ACSR will inform you that your recovery request will be ignored. If you only receive a message that the recovery request is either successful or indicates insufficient information, this means that 2FA is disabled.

For clarification, may I know when was the last time you successfully signed in to your account?

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
