Assigned Access Multi-App Kiosk

Dear support team.

We need to set up a shared computer in our warehouse that only has access to Microsoft Edge (for our inventory web app) and the calculator app. We want everything else blocked out completely. How do you configure a Multi-App Kiosk profile in Intune using an AppuserModelID (AUMID) layout ?

    Hi,

    You should use the native "Multi-app kiosk" profile template in the Intune portal rather than manual XML/OMA-URI configurations. This profile uses Application User Model IDs (AUMIDs) for the calculator and Microsoft Edge to act as unique identifiers, creating a restricted sandbox that blocks all non-essential system interfaces. This method is the preferred, modern standard for ensuring that warehouse devices remain secure and dedicated strictly to your inventory web application.
