Hi everyone,

I hope you're doing well.

During the downloading of Microsoft Teams, I certainly activated Microsoft Exploratory without noticing.

It turns out I won't be using that function. So How could I cancel or eliminate that feature?

I tried to call the support in France but can't get pass the AI filter which can't help me in my ask.

Thank you for the help !

    Hi @Oumar

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Microsoft Teams Exploratory (also known as Microsoft 365 Exploratory) is a free trial license that can be automatically assigned when an eligible user signs in to Teams for the first time.

If you no longer need it, the license generally needs to be removed by a Microsoft 365 administrator:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
    2. Go to Users > Active users.  User's image
    3. Select your account.
    4. Open Licenses and apps.  User's image
    5. Uncheck Microsoft Teams Exploratory (or Microsoft 365 Exploratory, if shown).
    6. Save the changes.

You could refer to this article : Manage the Microsoft Teams Exploratory experience - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn

If you're not the administrator of the tenant, you'll need to contact the person who manages your Microsoft 365 subscription and ask them to remove the exploratory license for your account.

If you get the Teams Exploratory trial yourself , you will need to contact the IT admin to use PowerShell to turn off a user's ability to install trial apps and services, even if trials were previously turned off.

Contact the admin follow the instructions on how to turn off and on users' ability to install trial apps and services, see Use AllowSelfServicePurchase for the MSCommerce PowerShell module

Thank you again for your time and understanding. I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response!
