Microsoft for Startups confusion

Hey everyone,

I wanted to ask to clarify how Microsoft for Startups works. I applied for the programme about three to four months ago and got $1,000 and then $5,000 credits after verifying my business details.

On this page I can see that you can benefit from more credits by using more Azure services: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/startups/microsoft-for-startups/getting-started-mfs

But also today, I got a banner (I guess because my credits run out) that I have to have an investor referral code. So before I start using more Azure services I wanted to figure out if I need this code or not, because I am bootstrapping my product and I don't have the code.

So could you please explain how the program works? Thank you in advance!

yeah, if you have an investor you need the code to have more credits ,you can also try to get the investor code from your investors if there are any but if you don't have any investors and your income is from government just go to the application form (i mean the form that you used to apply or the site where you applied for the startup investment from government) and search for tollfree and then call them you can get your investor code
