The micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that introduces how software and hardware work together. Participants use a micro:bit to design and build a wearable basketball throw counter.
The goal of this experience is to learn how STEM concepts are present in the world of sports–specifically basketball. Professional players, coaches, managers, and analysts need a solid understanding of human body science, statistics, physics of the game, and how to maximize the use of technology in collecting data and predicting results.
