Managing media playback issues and settings in Microsoft Edge on Windows 11
Edge has WIDENED after watching Full Screen video clip.

If having watched a video clip expanded to Full Screen, upon reverting back, Edge has WIDENED substantially. It then has be 'resized' (back) to what it WAS. Does it regardless of what web site. I can find no reason nor remedy. Never had this behaviour before Edge GA 143.
I have just confirmed this applies to ALL Edge Channels AND Edge in Canary Insider Build.
Not exclusive to Edge GA nor to Win11 GA.
Any thoughts, comments are welcome.

MaCK0y 45 Reputation points2025-12-22T20:55:07.07+00:00 Do you use vertical tabs? For me, this problem started from version 143.0.3650.66 when they introduced the Tab Search feature. If I disable vertical tabs, Edge is resized back to the way it was originally and in the same position before going to full screen. By the way, it's not just when watching videos. Anytime you go in full screen, after exiting, the window is widened and moved to the right where part of right side is off screen for me. Very annoying.
