Microsoft Teams Camera

Running Microsoft Teams (versions are always updated), on an HP Pavillion. Teams camera does not work. Have checked the settings for the camera, have run full diagnostics on HP Pavillion. Cannot get the camera to work when I join a Teams meeting (audio works well, can see all the participants

    Open the Camera app in Windows, is the webcam working correctly in that app or is there an error indicated?

    If the webcam is working in the Camera app, open the Settings App.

    Go to Privacy and Security - Camera.

    Is the Teams app set to allow access your webcam?

    If the webcam is not working in the Camera app, what is the error indicated, or is it just a black screen?
