I've been paying for Microsft365 for a few years now. Helps me keep stuff I do on word on my Android and my PC linked. All of the sudden, when I open a document on my Android, it tells me I need to lg in to be able to edit. I try to log in with my email address and it says "We couldn't find a work or school account with that email address. The same address I've been using for the past few years. Logs in fine on my CPU. Help please

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Since the same email address still works on your PC, it sounds like the Android app may be trying to sign you in as a work or school account instead of a personal Microsoft account.

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Which app are you using on Android when this happens, Word, Microsoft 365, or another app?
    2. If you go to Settings > Accounts in the app, does your Microsoft account still appear there, or were you signed out automatically?

As a quick test, try uninstalling all Microsoft Office apps on your Android device (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft 365, and OneDrive if installed), restart the phone, then reinstall them from the Google Play Store and sign in again.

Also, try removing the account from the Android app and then adding it again using the "Personal account" option if it appears.

Let me know what you find.
