To add or update the billing address that Skype (and Microsoft calling services) require before making calls, update the billing information on the Microsoft account or subscription that is being used for calling.

For consumer (personal) subscriptions and services (for example, Clipchamp or other Microsoft 365 consumer plans):

    1. Go to the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services.
    2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account used for Skype/Teams calling.
    3. Locate the relevant subscription or paid plan.
    4. Select Manage (or Manage subscription), which opens the subscription details.
    5. From there, update:
      • Payment method, and
      • Billing address (name, email, address) associated with that payment method.
    6. Save the changes.

If the billing address is tied to a business Microsoft 365 subscription (admin-managed):

    1. In the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Billing > Billing accounts.
    2. Select the appropriate billing account.
    3. On the Billing profiles tab, select the relevant billing profile.
    4. Under Bill-to address, select Edit.
    5. Enter the new billing (Bill-to) address and select Save.

If a separate ship-to address is needed (for example, for invoices or tax reasons), either:

    • Edit the existing billing profile and adjust ship-to if available, or
    • Add a new billing profile and specify a new Bill-to and Ship-to address during creation.

After updating the billing address, return to Skype/Teams and retry the call; the system should recognize the updated billing details.
