Can't upgrade to 365 Family from Basic & Personal

I have 365 Basic and 365 Personal both being billed via googleplay and want to upgrade to 365 Family only but paying through microsoft direct rather than googleplay as the last upgrade via googlepay seems to have resulted in my paying for both Basic and Personal rather than just upgrading to Personal.

I have tried to pay for 365 Family when logged in to microsoft but it says the upgrade was blocked? I do not want to stop the payments via googlepay until I have sorted the 365 Family out as i am worried i will lose the data.

    Hi,

    You can cancel the Google subscription first. Microsoft provides a 30 day grace period before deactivating things.

    #!:

    Go to Google Play → Subscriptions → Cancel both Basic and Personal. Wait for 48 hours.

    #2:

    1. Sign in at account.microsoft.com/services.
    2. Buy Family directly with a card or PayPal.
    3. This creates a clean subscription under Microsoft billing.

    Data is safe during the transition.
