Ability to book both M65 resource account meeting room and Teams resource account Surface Hub at the same time

Is there a way to ensure that when we book a shared resource account such as a meeting room, the associated Surface Hub is automatically booked for the same date and time?

For example, currently I book [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed] from 08:00 to 09:30, then manually add [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed] to the meeting, include the Teams meeting link, add participants, and send the invite. This process successfully books the Surface Hub, which is then used in the selected room.

However, if the Surface Hub is permanently located in that meeting room, is it possible to configure things so that booking the meeting room alone will automatically reserve the Surface Hub as well, without needing to invite a separate resource account?

Dear @Rahuleo,

I understand your requirement to automatically reserve the Surface Hub when booking a meeting room.

Currently, Microsoft 365 does not provide a native way to link two separate resource accounts (such as a room mailbox and a Surface Hub) so that booking one automatically reserves the other.

The recommended approach is to configure the Surface Hub to use the same resource account as the meeting room (standard Teams Rooms setup). In this configuration, booking the room will automatically reserve the device since they share the same calendar.
Please refer to this document: How to create and configure resource accounts for Teams Rooms and panels

If separate accounts must be maintained, you may consider a workaround such as forwarding meeting requests from the room mailbox to the Surface Hub, although this does not provide full conflict management.

I hope this provides a clear path forward. Please let me know if you have further questions.
