Install every available update
Go to:
Settings → Windows Update
Install all updates.
Then click Advanced options → Optional updates and install any Surface or Qualcomm driver updates.
Restart and check again.
Download the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit from the Microsoft Store. It checks hardware components and software including Windows Update, batteries, graphics, network, and more — run a full series of tests to identify any hardware issues.
Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:
sfc /scannow
Open Event viewer > Application error logs -Try to find any clue related to freezing
Press Win + R, type:
perfmon /rel
If Reliability Monitor shows hardware errors or the freezes persist after the latest firmware, I'd recommend contacting Microsoft while it's under warranty.
