Hi Varughese, Abe,
If the headset connects as a microphone but does not appear as an audio output device, the issue is usually related to the Bluetooth audio profile, pairing information, or the Bluetooth driver rather than the headset hardware itself.
You can try following these additional checks:
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices.
- Remove the Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex from the paired devices list.
- Restart the PC.
- Put the headset back into pairing mode and pair it again.
- Open Settings > System > Sound and check whether the headset now appears under Output devices.
- In Device Manager, expand Bluetooth and update the Bluetooth adapter driver. If no newer driver is found, try installing the latest Bluetooth driver available from your PC manufacturer's support website.
- If available, install Jabra Direct and check for headset firmware updates.
If the headset works correctly when connected by USB but not over Bluetooth, it would also be helpful to know:
- Does the headset appear under Settings > System > Sound > Output at all?
- What is the make/model of your PC or Bluetooth adapter?
- Does the issue occur when using the Jabra Link USB adapter (if included with your headset)?
That information can help narrow down whether this is a Bluetooth profile issue, a driver issue, or a pairing configuration problem.
