I need help connecting my paid non-profit account with my laptop before the service expires. I am the administrator and purchased in the past from Tech Soup with no issues. This time I used Microsoft and am having issues. My account shows 25 licenses and then the 5 licenses I subscribed to this month. I don't know how to add myself. TechSoup did it for me the last time.

    Dear Dianne,

Good day, and I appreciate the clear explanation of your concern. I’m understand that you are having trouble connecting your paid nonprofit Microsoft 365 account to your laptop, especially with the service expiration approaching. As a forum moderator, I genuinely wish I could directly access your tenant, licenses to connect everything for you. Unfortunately, my role here is limited to providing general guidance and steps that you can try from your side. Please try the following:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center using your admin credentials (usually the account with the onmicrosoft.com address).
    2. Go to Users > Active users.
    3. Select your own user account.
    4. Go to Licenses and apps.
    5. Check the box for the correct Microsoft 365 nonprofit license.
    6. Select Save changes.

You can also assign the license from Billing > Licenses, select the product, and then choose Assign licenses.

For reference: Assign or unassign licenses for users in the Microsoft 365 admin center - Microsoft 365 admin

Once the license is assigned, you can install the apps as follows:

    1. Go to office.com
    2. Sign in with your work/nonprofit Microsoft 365 account.
    3. Select Install apps.
    4. Choose Microsoft 365 apps.
    5. Download and run the installer.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments so I can continue to support you. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I'm looking forward to your reply.
