Setting up future meetings with participants using Teams calendar or Outlook integration
Hi @Carolina van der Westhuizen,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
I understand that you would like to schedule recurring meetings in Microsoft Teams that occur on different days and at different times within a single series.
At the moment, Microsoft Teams does not support creating a recurring meeting with varying times and days within one meeting series. Recurrence patterns are limited to a fixed schedule (for example, the same time on selected days or a consistent weekly pattern). This is currently a product limitation.
I also agree that your idea is a great suggestion, and it could have a positive impact on productivity especially for scenarios where schedules are not consistent.
Because this is a product-level limitation, the best way to ensure the Teams product team is aware of this need is to submit feedback through the official Microsoft Feedback Portal. This is where the engineering team actively reviews customer suggestions, and many improvements have been implemented based on user feedback.
How to submit your suggestion:
- Visit the Microsoft Feedback Portal
- Select Send feedback
- Provide a clear description, for example: “Allow recurring meetings in Teams to support different times and dates within a single series.”
If you post your idea, feel free to share the link here. I’d be happy to support it with an upvote, and I’m sure other users with similar requirements will appreciate the visibility.
As forum moderators, I don’t have the ability to change product behavior, but I'm glad to help clarify what is currently supported and guide you to the right place for feature requests.
Thank you again for raising this. I understand this may not be the experience you expected, and I truly appreciate your feedback.
