Touchscreen issues using ROBLOX on Microsoft surface laptop

I have been having issues with using the touchscreen on my device for Roblox. The main issues are the camera switching from being freely rotatable to locking to a zooming mode, stuck inputs ex. jumping/moving even after I stop touching the screen and parts of the screen becoming unable to be interacted with.

I have tried various fixes (ex. turning off memory integrity that was suggested here) but I have not been able to find one that works, and this issue has persisted since the start of the month. Outside Roblox the touchscreen seems to work fine. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Since the touchscreen works normally outside Roblox, this appears to be a Roblox-specific touch input issue rather than a hardware problem. Please ensure your Surface Laptop has the latest Windows, Surface firmware, and touchscreen driver updates installed, then reinstall the HID-compliant touch screen driver via Device Manager. If the issue persists across multiple Roblox experiences, it is likely a Roblox client issue.

The best thing you can do is add your experience to the existing bug reports on the Roblox Developer Forum, so it gets more visibility and a higher priority for a fix.

Is there any way for me to confirm that this is a Roblox issue and not a problem with my device? Other people with the same issue have had it resolved using fixes ex. turning off memory integrity which suggests that it may not be a Roblox issue? Doing this has lessened but not removed the issue. I have tried reinstalling the HID-compliant touch screen driver and that has not worked as well as checking that my device is up to date. Is there anything else you can recommend trying to fix this?

I have already tried getting help with this issue in the Roblox Developer forum but that has not been very helpful.

To help determine whether this is a Roblox-specific issue or a device-specific one, I'd recommend testing the touchscreen with other touch-enabled games or applications that support multi-touch gestures. If the issue only occurs in Roblox across multiple experiences while touch functions normally elsewhere, that would strongly suggest a Roblox client or compatibility issue. Since disabling Memory Integrity reduced the symptoms, it may indicate an interaction between Windows security features, Surface touch drivers, and Roblox rather than a hardware fault. If you've already reinstalled the HID touch driver and confirmed Windows and Surface firmware are up to date, the remaining options would be testing in a clean Windows user profile or after a Surface recovery image to rule out software corruption.
