I have both outlook and teams loaded. However, TEAMS icon not loading into my outlook for use in my calendar with a meeting I am calling. How is it to be loaded. Add-ins shows it is there for use, but does not show up.

    Dear @Gerald Froese

I understand how confusing this can be when the add-in appears enabled but doesn’t show in Outlook. To narrow this down and help you faster, could you please confirm a few details?

    • Are you using Classic Outlook (desktop app) or the New Outlook for Windows / Outlook on the web?
    • Are you using a personal Microsoft account (@outlook.com/hotmail.com) or a work account (@company.com)?
    • When you create a new meeting, do you see any “Teams meeting” toggle/option at all, or is it completely missing from the ribbon?‌
    • Is the issue happening only on your device, or are other users in your organization experiencing the same behavior?
    • Can you confirm if Microsoft Teams is running and signed in with the same account as Outlook when you try to schedule the meeting?
    • If you are using Classic Outlook (desktop app) > you go to File > Options > Add-ins, does the Teams add-in appear under Active, Inactive, or Disabled Items?‌
    • If possible, please kindly provide screenshots to help me diagnose the issue more effectively.  ‌

For more information and troubleshooting steps, you can follow to this article: Understanding the Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Outlook: Eligibility, Issues, and Troubleshooting

Moreover, if your Teams Meeting add-in is missing in Outlook Desktop (Classic Outlook) after updating to New Teams, you can refer and follow to this article: Teams Meeting add-in is missing in Outlook Desktop after updating to New Teams

If you are using New Outlook or Outlook on the web, Microsoft Teams is integrated into the new Outlook for Windows. You don't need to install a separate add-in to schedule meetings in Outlook. To learn more, see Getting started with the new Outlook for Windows.

Note: Please understand that as a forum moderator, my role is to provide general guidance and troubleshooting support. I don’t have access to internal systems or backend tools, and I appreciate your understanding of these limits.

I hope the information shared is helpful. Please try the steps above and let me know if they work. If not, we can continue working together to narrow this down.

The first response may not always resolve the issue right away, but with your help and more details, we can work toward a solution.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. I'm looking forward to your reply.
