Hi,

Since the issue only occurs when your device is connected through Ethernet (via the docking station) and does not occur over Wi-Fi, this points more toward a network adapter, dock, or network configuration issue rather than Microsoft Teams itself. Please try the following:

1/ Connect the Ethernet cable directly to the computer (if your device has an Ethernet port) to determine whether the docking station is the cause.

2/ Update the docking station firmware and the Ethernet/network adapter driver from your computer or dock manufacturer’s support site.

3/ If you are using a VPN, disconnect it temporarily and test again.

4/ Test on a different Ethernet network or with a different dock/cable if available.

5/ If your organization manages the device, ask your IT administrator to verify that there are no firewall, QoS, proxy, or network policies affecting Microsoft Teams traffic over the wired connection.

If the issue persists, could you also let me know:

  • Is this happening only on your work network, or does it also occur on other wired networks?
  • Does the entire network connection disconnect, or is it only the Teams call that drops while internet access continues to work?
  • Are you using the new Microsoft Teams desktop app, and if so, what version is installed?

If this is a Microsoft 365 work or school account and the problem continues after the checks above, your Microsoft 365 administrator can collect Teams client logs and contact Microsoft support from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center for further investigation, as this may require analysis of Teams diagnostics and network logs.
