If this is about the claim itself, please continue through the Microsoft Support channel where the claim was created, because they are the only ones who can check its status.
If you still want to troubleshoot the Bluetooth connection here, please share (screenshot if possible):
- The exact EarPod/AirPods model.
- Whether it appears under Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
- What happens when you try to pair it, including any error message.
For a normal Bluetooth pairing attempt, put the earbuds in pairing mode, then on Surface go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add device > Bluetooth and select the earbuds if they appear.
