I recovered my personal Microsoft account after previously having trouble with two-step verification. I was able to regain access and update my account information. Since then, I can no longer complete the sign-in process. The Microsoft sign-in page becomes blank and then returns:

Error code: 2147759349

Tag: 7q6ca

Message: "An unexpected error occurred."

This happens every time I try to sign in. I have already tried multiple devices and troubleshooting steps. Can you please check whether there is an authentication or security issue on my Microsoft account? And microsoft is not helping please hel[

    Hello B,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Before we proceed further, may I know if the issue happens only in the website or in other Microsoft apps and games?

In the meantime, please try and follow this quick fix:

    • Type "Credentials manager" in the search bar and press Enter.
    • Go to "Windows Credentials"
    • Remove all entries related to your account or contains login.live.com
    • Restart your computer.

"I am sorry to hear you are facing this issue. Based on similar experiences, you might want to try these troubleshooting steps:

Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Sometimes, outdated data in your browser can interfere with the sign-in process.

Use an InPrivate/Incognito Window: Try signing in using a private browsing window to see if browser extensions are causing the conflict.

Check Official Support: If the issue persists, please visit the Microsoft Account recovery page or contact Microsoft Support directly for account-specific assistance.

I hope this helps you regain access to your account!"
