My laptop uses my Microsoft account with a mail I do not use and forgot the email to, my recovery mail is also wrong and have no access to it. I forgot the password to my laptop and now I can not login into it, I tried calling support but because it's an AI it can not help me and I've tried filling out the form but it says there's not enough proof that it's my account. How do I fix this?

Since you know your account email but no longer have access to the misspelled recovery address, the only official way to regain access is through the Microsoft Account Recovery Form.

You can submit it at account.live.com/acsr be sure to include your Microsoft Rewards redemption history, approximate account creation date, and any old passwords you recall, as these help verify ownership. Responses usually arrive within 24 to 48 hours, and once recovered, you can update your recovery information right away.

Thanks for posting here in Microsoft Community, I understand that you are having concern about locked out of your windows laptop, to better understanding do you remember any part of the Microsoft account email address such as the domain or first few characters and have you previously set up any other recovery options like a phone number, security questions or linked this account to any purchases, subscriptions, or this specific laptop’s serial number?

Since the recovery form showed insufficient proof, please try submitting it again with more specific details especially your Microsoft Rewards redemption history, approximate dates, old passwords, and the fact this account is linked to your Windows laptop. These unique details help verify ownership. If it still fails, reach out directly to Microsoft Support to request a manual review, as there is no other official way to regain access.
