Microsoft account deleted even though I signed in before the deletion deadline

Hello,

I'm looking for help because I believe my Microsoft account may have been deleted incorrectly.

I requested to close my Microsoft account, but before the scheduled deletion date I signed back into the account. According to Microsoft's documentation, signing in before the deletion deadline should automatically cancel the account closure.

I have Microsoft verification code emails that were sent before the deletion deadline, confirming that the account was still active after I requested deletion.

However, I can no longer sign in. When I enter the correct email address, Microsoft says that it doesn't recognize the account, as though it no longer exists.

This Microsoft account is linked to my Xbox profile and my purchased copy of Minecraft. My Xbox profile still exists, which makes me think the account or its associated data may still be recoverable.

I have already tried the Microsoft support site, but it only directs me to AI-generated articles and I have been unable to speak to a human support agent.

Could a Microsoft moderator or support representative please investigate whether my account was deleted in error or whether the account closure was processed despite me signing in before the deletion deadline?

I can provide the account email address, my Xbox gamertag, the approximate dates of the account closure request, and the Microsoft verification code emails if needed.

Thank you.

    Hello Minecraft MC,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Sign in to your Microsoft Account in the closure waiting time should cancel the request. So this is indeed weird in this case, may I know where you signed in to at that time?
