I have two Microsoft accounts but I need to close one. The big issue is that the one I want to close was just charged for the year the 365 program. How do I switch that subscription to the one I want to keep open?

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Unfortunately, you cannot transfer an Office subscription or license from one account to another.

In this situation, please sign in with the Microsoft account you used to purchase the Office 365 subscription using the link attached below, and then cancel the subscription. Once canceled, the refund will be returned to your original payment method within 3–5 working days.

Cancel a Microsoft 365 subscription

After you receive the refund, you can close your Microsoft account and subscribe to Office 365 using your other Microsoft account.
