    Dear @Phil Hammond

Thank you for your patience. Based on the information you've provided, the first three approaches from @Harsimrat Summan are the recommended options because GoDaddy is typically the licensing provider for Microsoft 365 subscriptions purchased through them.

However, if you have already tried all of the following without success, then the final way would be to discuss a defederation of the Microsoft 365 tenant from GoDaddy with GoDaddy support (remove connection between Microsoft tenant & GoDaddy). A GoDaddy-managed tenant is tied to GoDaddy's partner relationship, which can restrict direct license purchasing and tenant management. For more information, please refer to this Microsoft Official article here: Defederation Process for Microsoft 365 Admins Using GoDaddy

By completing the defederation process, the Microsoft 365 tenant would no longer be managed through GoDaddy, and your organization would take direct ownership of the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. This would allow you to purchase and manage Microsoft licenses, add-ons, and services directly through Microsoft without relying on GoDaddy as the reseller.

Therefore, once the tenant is fully under your control, you should be able to purchase and assign Audio Conferencing licenses directly, subject to the licensing requirements of your Microsoft 365 subscription. For reference: Plan Audio Conferencing for Microsoft Teams meetings

I hope the information shared helps point you in the right direction. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I'm looking forward to your update

    Hi Phil,

This "loop" happens because GoDaddy acts as a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) syndication partner. Since your billing goes through GoDaddy, Microsoft blocks direct license purchases on your admin portal, but GoDaddy's standard dashboard often lacks advanced add-ons like Audio Conferencing.

To break this loop and get it activated, try these exact steps:

    • Purchase via GoDaddy Advanced Portal: Log into your GoDaddy account, go to your Email & Office Dashboard, and look for an option to manage or add Add-ons. GoDaddy sells Microsoft 365 add-ons, but they are often buried under advanced domain/email settings rather than the main product page.

    • The "Purchase Services" Workaround: If you have global admin credentials, sign in directly to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Go to Billing > Purchase services. Even with GoDaddy syndication, Microsoft sometimes allows you to purchase standalone add-on licenses directly using a credit card if they aren't explicitly offered by your partner.

    • Contact GoDaddy’s Dedicated Office 365 Support Tier: If the portal doesn't show it, standard GoDaddy support agents often get confused by complex Teams licensing. Call or chat with them and explicitly ask for the "Microsoft 365 Audio Conferencing Add-on". They must manually provision the SKU onto your tenant from their partner side.
