Based on your description, the "Try now" button for the Microsoft 365 E5 trial is grayed out, and you cannot see the subscription under Billing > Your products.
For better understanding your situation, could you please confirm some more information as:
- Does this issue occur only with the Microsoft 365 E5 trial, or are other trial subscriptions also grayed out?
- Has a payment method been added and successfully verified for this tenant?
- Has anyone else in your organization previously started a Microsoft 365 E5 trial for this tenant? Some trial offers can only be redeemed once per tenant or account.
- It would be helpful if you could share screenshot of the issue (you can share in Private Message and please remove/hide private information)
- Are you trying to activate the trial from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center or from a Microsoft licensing webpage?
