Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing persistent Blue Screens of Death (BSOD) with the error code DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (0x9F) on my laptop, ASUS ROG Strix G531GD running Windows 11.

According to the minidump analysis, the primary culprit is nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Driver) causing a timeout during a power state transition, with pci.sys listing it as a failure bucket.

I have already performed several major troubleshooting steps, but the BSOD still occurs. Here is what I have done so far:

Disabled Fast Startup via Control Panel Power Options.

Clean uninstalled the graphics driver using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode, and then installed the latest official NVIDIA GeForce Security Update Driver (Version 582.66).

Completely uninstalled third-party software that was flagged in the dump, including Riot Vanguard (vgk.sys) and AVG Antivirus.

Configured PCI Express Link State Power Management to "OFF" for both 'On Battery' and 'Plugged In' settings to bypass power saving on the PCI bus.

Changed Power Management Mode in NVIDIA Control Panel to "Prefer maximum performance".

Please upload any minidump files you have, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.

Please do not upload a very large Memory.dmp file.

    Open Windows File Explorer.

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive... etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link.

Then post the link here to the zip file, so I can take a look for you.
