So my laptop(HP 15-DW3xxx, windows 11) keep saying there's no audio device installed & I've tried a bunch of fixes that really can't seem to work;
- installed new drivers(licenced drivers since they're from HP support Assistant) - also manually downloaded and installed the drivers
- Audio troubleshooter keep saying no audio device was found yet proposes no reason why it isn't found? nor fixes.
- checked the sound output device but there's actually no option to even choose from which means it doesn't even recognize the audio system
- tried adding legacy hardware (device manager - action - add legacy hardware - sound, video, game etc - Realtek High definition audio but as it installs, it just keeps restarting saying an issue was found)
- tried the control panel fix(control panel - hardware & sound - sound - Playback "no audio devices are installed")
- Did reset, sound was good UNTIL it restarted after a tiny update, sound gone again.
- no Sound, video, and game controllers category in Device manager after being directed to a windows resetting.
- retried all the fixes again, nothing works.
Yes, windows is up to date. As it was when the audio issues started.
Laptop specs:
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 2.42 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.75 GB usable)
(PII Removed)

i had no problem in windows 10 and when i try to manually install from device manger the realtek high definition audio i get BSOD with error rtkvhd64.sys.
